  • Resides in Pittsburgh, but raised in metro Detroit so forever a fan of all things water, whether the Great Lakes or The Three Rivers. 

After 15 years leading applied behavioral science efforts inside  NIOSH, I saw the same problem again and again:


People get frustrated, not because they lacked technical knowledge, but because they lacked clarity on how to perform the key social skills to work with others to get results, meet organizational goals and to progress their careers.

So I found an opportunity to fix that. 

​

My mission is simple: 

 

Help small businesses fix execution gaps that drain company profits and show up as misses in behaviors but are really breakdowns in implementation of strategy in operation processes.  

What I’ve Done

I’ve spent two decades designing behavior-change systems that work in the real world—not just in theory.


Here’s what that looks like:

  • Advised Fortune 500 companies on behavior based strategy and performance management

  • Led research strategies at NIOSH for integrating behavior based solutions into occupational safety and health for high risk U.S. industries

  • Designed NIOSH Division level programs implemented to align organizational strategy, operational processes and key worker behaviors to advance stakeholder adoption of interventions, improve team communication, and accelerate adoption of new organizational systems

  • Published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences
